Spandan Mundhe’s practice reflects deeply on his immediate surroundings and on the finite aspects of existence. His work unfolds across multiple levels of humanistic understanding, questioning human behavior in social, political, and individual contexts. Through satire and a camouflaged narrative style, he depicts the struggles and mundanities of society, compelling viewers to decode their own positions and responses towards past, present, and future realities. Central to his practice is a critical examination of shifting values, morals, and ethics, and the dynamics between the powerful and the insignificant. In doing so, he interprets and responds to lived experiences through a deeply humanistic lens.
