This print explores the intricate relationship between physical movement, human coexistence, and psychological tension. Through the rhythmic positioning of figures, the artwork acts as a visual dialogue where bodies lean, overlap, and respond to one another within a shared environment. Rather than depicting a literal dance, the movement serves as a metaphor for the subconscious shifts, quiet negotiations, and emotional weight carried through human relationships over time.

Shubham Dhania's practice is shaped by an ongoing inquiry into human existence, emotional landscapes, and the shifting nature of identity. This duality—the intimacy of the internal self and the abrasiveness of the external world—forms the foundation of his artistic inquiry. His work meditates on the coexistence and conflict between memory and experience, exploring how relationships and lived experience alter our core being while redefining our sense of identity and belonging.

At the heart of Dhania's practice lies the human figure—fragmented and distorted, an intuitive vehicle through which he translates psychological states into form. His visual vocabulary oscillates between anatomical ambiguity and structured environments, creating a language that is both visceral and reflective. Working across printmaking, painting, and mixed media, he continually pushes the expressive potential of the fragmented form, viewing each work as an evolving negotiation between the self and its surroundings. In recent explorations, Dhania focuses on the interplay between coexistence and isolation, with multiple figures leaning, overlapping, or standing apart within structured spaces, seeking new ways to represent the tensions of belonging and alienation. Through his art, he invites viewers to pause and confront their own inner noise, forming a personal, emotional relationship with the open-ended images he creates.

Dhania completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphics/Printmaking from College of Art, Delhi (2020–2024), and is completed his Master of Fine Arts in Graphics/Printmaking at the Government College of Art, Chandigarh, Panjab University (2024–2026). His exhibitions include the Annual Art Exhibition, Government College of Art, Chandigarh (2025 and 2026), the Annual Art Exhibition, Chandigarh Lalit Kala Academy (2025), and the Annual Art Exhibition, College of Art, Delhi (2023 and 2024). He was awarded Third Prize at the Annual Art Exhibition, Government College of Art, Chandigarh (2026), and has conducted a painting workshop at the Rose Festival, Chandigarh.

"At the center of my practice is the exploration of the subconscious and the invisible friction between the internal self and the external world. I am fascinated by how memories, human relationships, and lived experiences alter our core being over time."
